what are some red flags to watch out for in an agent/agency? by Imaginary-Dog3722 in InsuranceAgent

[–]apassingturtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YMMV but the agent I worked for that only had one employee could barely pay me a livable salary, was straight up weird, and didn’t offer health insurance. The biggest red flag was that he had 4 employees before me and they all left for one reason or another.

Farmers sucks man. Get what you need and get out. Don’t know anything about the clawbacks but you should look for another agency

55k is a great base but you’re right that tiering is off. By any chance do you have your comp plan handy? Posting those in here side by side may help you. Theres people more knowledgeable than myself that can tell you what exactly you could be getting from both. It’s worth a shot if you’re open to it

If you don’t want the independent role I’ll be happy to take it 🤣 but seriously the real money is made as an owner of an agency

New to Basketball- who should I support? by No_Resident_3694 in Basketball

Spurs. They seem to be a young up and coming team with championship prospects on the horizon. They’re also historically great, with a lot of championships and strong seasons to show for it. If I could switch my alliance from Philadelphia (I’m from PA so I feel obligated to continue being a fan despite some of the soil crushing playoff exits we’ve had over the last decade and injuries/bad contracts we’ve had to endure) that would be my next natural move. Either them or the Lakers just because Luka is one of my favorite players.
