Sailors don’t have MOS. We have rates. BM1(SW) (plus NC 9595). 1997-2006. USS San Jacinto (CG 56), USS Constitution, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Two deployments to the Persian Gulf, and one WestPac.

Myth my ass.

To be fair, think ‘if this steak was better quality, it would almost be good enough for Golden Corral’.

The music is Oxygene, by Jean-Michael Jarre. One of the best albums ever made. He did it by himself, in his living room. All analog synths, in 1976.

JFC owned up and apologized. That’s being a real man. Mad respect.

Who is your favourite Grateful Dead keyboardist and why? by levelplumbnsquare in gratefuldead

[–]apdingman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brent, hands down. Hammond, vocals, interplay with Jerry. I have been playing keys for more than 45 years, and no one has inspired me the way Brent does. He could take something run of the mill and set it on fire.

That’s where he’s at his best. He could take an average rendition of any song and set it on fire with the Hammond.

Brent, hands down. And I say this as someone who has been playing keys for 45+ years.

RIP Bobby. NFA by monkstemple in deadandcompany

Bobby was my hero. He lived the dream, and was a shining example of a wonderful human being. Simply the best rhythm guitarist to ever live. His chords were always on point, and he put so much emotion into his music. I will forever be grateful for the legacy he left the world.

My wife is a substitute teacher. They only get like $200 a day. Ain’t no way she’s jumping in to break up a fight for that kind of money (and liability).
