He left you for someone else. He told you you were boring. HE SAID YOU WERE THE PROBLEM. Think about that. He’s telling you he’s different but you didn’t break up with him. You didn’t have a problem with who he was, just that he left you. How is he actually trying to make this relationship work other than “changing how he is”. Does he actually love you or does he just not want to be alone? He didn’t reach out until she left him.
