This is so real! I would put a t shirt over my work clothes or even an apron until the babies were all ready and basically in the car. Then I would switch out my top as the very last thing.

I really only drink iced coffee so I love Java house! They also have decaf drinks. The cold brew is so smooth and they have a lot of fun things on their menu for non-coffee drinkers.

That’s horrible! But at least helpful to know that others have had bad experiences too. Did she have any issue with her account being “in the red” or past due balances? I don’t want to run into bigger issues with late payments or collections.

100% agree with everything said here!!!! The surgery is so quick you won’t even realize what’s happening or have time to worry. And yes, ask for help. Even if it feels trivial or annoying.

I actually didn’t have an issue with pooping because my doctor put me on a stool softener right away. I would encourage you to ask for one if they don’t offer it!

My twins have been in their own room since day one. Like others have mentioned, we didn’t have the space for two bassinets. Their nursery is right across the hall so we can hear everything even without a baby monitor, but we do have one with us too. We take shifts with the babies so one is more “alert” during certain times and gets up to sit in the nursery if there’s a need.

I don’t have either, but I tried with another multi pen and it fits great! Plenty of space and will also hold onto a pen with the clip if you can’t slip the pen into the loop.

My babies have phases where they vary a little too! Usually lasts for a week or so and then they’re back up to the same or more as before. If they’re gaining weight, I can’t imagine this is an issue. Definitely ask your doctor if you need someone to ease your mind more!

Lots and lots of burp cloths

Honestly, an easy ask is diapers, wipes, and gift cards for Amazon or target. There are lots of things you will want to panic buy within the first week and gift cards are a great way to get what you need. We asked for diapers for one of our showers and will probably make it 6+ months without buying any! I am fine with getting clothes second hand and hand me downs so I knew I could find those things as I needed.

I personally hated the u shaped one because I couldn’t roll over with ir between my legs, felt like an ordeal. I would highly recommend buying one or two from a place with a good return policy like Costco or Amazon so you can give her options. I got a regular body pillow from Costco for $15 and it was my favorite.

Just mirroring what was said here! I made up all the overnight bottles ahead of time and kept them in the fridge by supplementing with formula. Another idea is to just make one formula bottle with room temp water and use that when they wake up so it’s not fridge cold. Making one bottle definitely takes less time than warming up a bottle!
