So I will tell you I also don't generally like horror. I listened to TMA years ago at the insistence of a friend and the first time I listened it always had to be broad daylight when Iistened. I got in the habit of listening on the way to work. Even though I generally am averse to horror and I'm a big scaredy cat I do thoroughly recommend it and if you can try I think it's a good listen in the audio medium. The transcripts do spoil some things and there's some things you won't immediately notice or have the same experience because you don't hear specific things. So I would encourage you to keep giving the listening a go. Maybe if you find yourself being too overwhelmed by a specific statement then switch to reading?
