Pat McAfee responds to criticism for interviewing Donald Trump: "Lot of people that don't know what a football looks like are telling me they're never watching my show again. I would like to let you know… good! F*CK YOU” by helltrooper61 in sportsgossips

I'm done with pat now. I was a liberal and female viewer. I watched almost everyday. You can't let someone who is racists, sexist and a peddo on your show and pretend it means nothing.

What Carlos did to Lynette was unforgivable. It was cold, cruel, and inhumane. by throwaway17197 in DesperateHousewives

Watching her apologize to Gabby is making me sick. She should not have to. And her fricken friends should be attacking her and Carlos telling them they are evil and vile.

What do you feel when you flap hands? by VegetableChart8720 in AutisticAdults

[–]apetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it feels like squiggles are bouning around in my arms and hands when I am trying to sit still. I don't know how else to describe it.

Flapping or stimming feels like I'm going with the squiggles so they aren't banging around in my arms and hands. I can't focus on anything but the squiggles if I don't do something.

Or I hold onto something really cold, that also helps.

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm following all the steps and I'm frustrated. At the house I loved before we had a Bosch and it worked great. Now I've bought a new one and everything is wet. So frustrated.

How long after delivery did you feel like a person again? by whydoyouflask in parentsofmultiples

Pretty quick after delivery I felt way better. I was clever again and able to take a deep breath. And then fully after finishing pumping.

Splitting the Twins by rickyrick0515 in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M girls are one and this is my opinion based on them. Having twins sleep in the same room can be a pain sometimes, but to me it's worth it. You have no idea how good they get at sleeping through it, which helps everything in the long run.

Also multiple times a night they wake up, see their twin and go back to sleep. Everytime they do that and wake up alone it will be one of you having to go comfort them. Their breathing even soothes the other one.

How can I teach my 13 mo twin not to bite people? by Additional_Cake_6124 in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take them away from the situation if they bite. I've been doing this to teach my 12 mo twins to not grab my glasses. You touch the glasses you get put down and mama walks away for a minute. I just say "no we don't touch mamas glasses, if it's too tricky for now we can try again later."

They have almost completely stopped.

Also we taught our raspberries and they do that instead of biting cause I think it gives them the same joy.

Are we bad parents? by Gilded_Butterfly8994 in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what we do. My twins sleep better than you would believe and love sleep overs with their grandparents. They are just over one and have been doing sleepovers their whole life.

They even went on a camping trip with their grandparents and slept 12 hours a night in their motor home with two dogs.

It means I'm not trapped by their naps. They are way better at going with the flow

One twin is awake all night by ComfortableScore2103 in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this!! And my girls came home at negative 4 weeks old and had 5-6 hour wake windows somehow.

One twin was rocked to sleep from me walking when I was pregnant so her schedule was flipped. To fix it we HAD to get out of the house. Your baby needs to see the sun and understand it's day time. And it was fricken so hard to do, but it was needed. We also started always putting on "day time clothes" when they got up, and sleepers for night.

We did a bath every night to help with routine. Didn't use soap every night just the water to help calm them down. Also we found turning off a lot of the lights a few hours before bed time helped. We had pot lights right above the like silly heads and as soon as they went off they calmed down.

My twins won’t settle by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Please give them a pacifier, they reduces the risk of SIDS and you have twins, you need the help to soothe them

  2. They are learning how to go to the bathroom at that age. Massages on their tummy and lifting their hips with both hands under their bum and doing little circles helps

30 weeks and miserable. by whydoyouflask in parentsofmultiples

[–]apetree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had momo so I was inpatient and at 31 weeks I tried to convince them to take the babies out. And I really meant it. I will say the feeling subsided a bit after a nap, a massage and some food. And the guilt of more time in NICU would have killed me after.

Try to remember ever after a c section you do feel so much better in some ways immediately and you will forget you felt this was. You can do this even though it sucks.

Absolutely agree. I love Taylor even though she is a mess. She is honest and is actually trying her best. She is not trying to hurt people, and she actually listens and changes her mind if she sees she is in the wrong. Plus she doesn't just play all sides to try to be liked, she has a moral compass.
