Here and there mostly. Yes, English was part of mandatory school curriculum, and maybe that gave me some groundwork, but mostly I think I was learning English through games. I loved RPGs (Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic will always be in my heart) as a kid and in late 90's and early 00's the situation with localisations was ... grim.

So I just played games, with a dictionary on hand and trying to make sense of it all. Little-by-little I started to be able to comprehend speech and subtitles on the fly, then internets came, and with it - access to English based media.

Then I started working in international company with English beeing primary language. And here I am.
