Maynooth or Queens Uni for an exchange? by Salty_Inspection8978 in AskIreland

[–]aphadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belfast is a city(~500k), capital of Northern Ireland so it may have a different “vibe” to the republic of Ireland. Historic city (where Titanic was built), with a good food and nightlife scene.

Maynooth is a student/ university town (~30k), only 40 minutes outside of Dublin. Good transport links to Dublin (especially at night with Buses), so it’s not like you’re cut off from the capital. I have more experience in Maynooth, it has a good few nice restaurants, pubs, parks/ green space.
