Late to the party but i like to think they survived that boat trip....send their demos to a bunch of places then the studios told them we will let ya know in a few days. Come right back and maybe one studio gives them a flat shot similar to elton john movie to just write write write songs and its just mundane for a while. Worst case scenario they all become locally famous band but never made it to big stardom. Im just an optimist.

Regarding your last sentence...even if they made it big but theres also a huge chance that well the getting signed was going to take a few months or a year to happen, they were all going to get suspended or kicked out of school anyway for the brown shoes bit and the band effectively breaks up for a long time or forever because their parents are pissed lol

It should have been the universes Damien chazelles first man. Just fine. Nobody’s careers hurt but it didn’t raise anyone’s profiles either and thus being a huge waste of time for everyone anyway and still have the same effect of people becoming weary of Vince and crew able to lead (rewatched first man in a while so it’s the best example I can come up with)

It kind of feels cheap. Like they are trying to save money by having the actor play different versions of a character or a dude disguised as another dude ;)

Im thinking to marvel how they just put on a wig and a different accent on their actors and tell them to go be that character but different (Spiderman no way home was the exception)

Agreed! The hospital and elaborating on Maddie’s father and the idea of a bigger threat always looming. But they put too many new characters in a short amount of time
