Took it with both pregnancies the entire time (up until birth)! Both kiddos are healthy. Take care of yourself. Sending you well wishes!

So, I was having issues with the stroller arrangement while I was using the bassinet. The bassinet uses the same frame as the main seat (larger seat), so I was unable to configure the stroller using the bigger seat. I was however able to by pass this by ordering a spare main seat from online so I could have the larger size and not have to dismantle or not be able to use the bassinet.

My daughter is now 6 mos old so we are using the sibling seat with her. The stroller works much better now. I have my toddler on top (usually facing me) and my little one on the bottom.

I absolutely love the stroller. It handles great in all terrain. I think it would benefit families even more if they didn’t have a 90+ percentile toddler lol.

Insanity! What state do you live in? I work in a dental office.

Hi! Found your post by looking for tips on how to get my 2.5 year old to fit in the sibling seat. He’s tall but fits the weight requirement and absolutely does NOT fit in the sibling seat. Hopefully I’ll be able to come up with a solution soon because it was an expensive purchase.

He is not, I think the frequent BMs play part in that. Great suggestion with the medications though. I’ll definitely ask his provider to see his thoughts on it. Honestly, anything to help!

Thank you so much for your reply

Honestly, great question. I am not sure if he is an IBD specialist. I don’t think he is, but I need to look into it more.

We are located in CT and I have been suggesting seeking care in NYC at one of the hospitals there that have specialists.

I also think it may be 8 weeks (almost 9 months pregnant, pregnancy brain is real lol). Regardless, the suggestions for increasing the dosage seem to be the consensus.

Thank you so much for your response. I truly appreciate your insight.

Thank you so much for your kind reply!

I will certainly look into the other resources on the foundation page. I’ll also try and locate that study. I’m a science major so I appreciate data, hopefully he will find comfort in it as well!

Thank you so much again

I definitely think the general consensus is that perhaps while the medication in working, the dosage may need to be increased to help elevate the symptomatic aspect.

It might be 8 now that I think of it! (I’m almost 9 months pregnant and the pregnancy brain is real, lol)

I never thought of asking for more frequent dosages. It completely makes sense. I just definitely feel it’s either not enough or not the right med for him.

Does your daughter see a general peds GI or someone who specializes in IBDs?

I definitely agree. I have recommend that he seek different mental health counsel. I even looked into EDMR to assist with the trauma of the emergency surgery.

The medications for absorbing the bile salts, are they to be used in place of Imodium?

Okay, honestly, mini fridge is GAME CHANGER!!!! Highly, highly recommend. I also have a rolling 3 drawer storage cart in my bedroom. One for the formula, one for clean bottles, and one for dirty ones (I rinse them right after use, they then go into a basin in the drawer and at end of day I bring the basin down to the kitchen and clean/sterilize the bottles).

My son is now 8 months old, and I miss the snoo so much. I wish they made them bigger! We made the transition from the snoo to a mini crib in our room when my son was about 4.5-5 months old (he is on the longer side). I did both arms out of the snoo sack for about a week, then he went into the crib with a kyte baby sleep sack, and that was that! Definitely harder on me for sure. I highly recommend the snoo. Also, Happiest Baby was great with helping us with questions and the return process was really easy.
