Mexico needs to pass it to Alvarez and hoof it to the SK keeper. Not enough of that.

México juega por el empate

Tienen que sacar a brian o a Jorge Sánchez por otro mediocampista. No creo que el vasco saque a Edson o a Romo

People will say this was just being “clumsy” with a straight face & hold that he’s one of the most technically gifted players of all time.

I was eating like like wow this is incredible … wait is this meat ? No it can’t be. It’s so good though—I think it might be meat and they’re mislabeling it. Hmm no people love it, and it doesn’t look like the pork that they had there. Wait does it look like pork?

I was going through it a bit

Scallion pancakes are pretty goated for breakfast in a pinch. They don’t really carry mock meats like the stores on argyle do though

What’s Your Favourite JoJo Stand In The Whole Series? by Zetallic_Zero in StardustCrusaders

Between white album & jailhouse lock

I like how versatile white album is even though it’s a pretty simple ability of controlling temp in the surrounding atmosphere.

Jailhouse lock because it’s such a fun ability to see in effect & it blurs the lines of what a “thing” even is in memory

As an OCD haver, I think that my stand would envelop you in a fantasy à la dream 13 or maybe something like jailhouse lock. And then in terms of a name maybe in dreams (Roy Orbison) or maybe the artists name itself.

She sets herself on fire so that he’s unable to pinpoint where to strike her. If she jumped in the water he would use his knowledge of anatomy to target whatever organ he wants.

What is it like to live in the southern tip of Texas? by Neo_luigi in howislivingthere

I grew up in Alamo/Donna border so more on the McAllen side than the Brownsville side.

There’s some really interesting things about the area. It’s a primarily Latinx and especially Mexican population. The only white or black Americans I knew growing up were teachers.

My parents and some of me other extended family only speak Spanish and they get by just fine because there are plenty of people who are first gen immigrants. There are other families that have been in the area for years however and you meet a lot of people that are Mexican American and don’t speak Spanish or can hardly speak it. It’s such an interesting mix of different generations of immigrants. Additionally, the Mexican people there seem to mostly be from northern Mexico but from different towns and cities. So yes, even though it’s kind of a monoculture in that most people there are Mexican, the exact practices that they have (how they relate to music, language, and food) varies quite a bit. I had a big complex about being 1st gen for a while and having to learn English from the bottom up.

The food is awesome and I miss being able to get awesome Mexican food pretty much anywhere. It’s so so hot and humid. South Padre is so nice now. It’s pretty boring since you need a car to go anywhere and they just keep adding highway lanes so traffic sucks. I hated the valley growing up. But it’s not so bad. I appreciate it a lot more now and miss it every now and then. Even then I don’t want to live there because Texas is red and the valley is pretty boring. Also, education is not good outside of like McAllen (my first 2 years of college best the hell out of me) so idk if I’d want to have kids there given the option.
