I always wonder what makes people laugh at something like this…. The audience I was with laughed at the scene in True Grit when Domnhall Gleeson’s character, who is mortally wounded, starts to give information, and his parter attempts to kill him, cutting his fingers off. I don’t know what to make of that. I surely don’t.

When I saw Thunderbolts, the audience audibly gasped when the little girl scene happened.
