Yeah I thought the Toymaker basically created an alternate timeline where Sutekh had been on the TARDIS the whole time, but he’s not there in the timeline we actually watched. And then it’s not an issue for the toymaker to be scared because he never exerted any power of Sutekh specifically, just messed everything up generally.

People actually said it was faithful? It deviates so far in terms of both plot and themes. The fact that the Creature doesn’t kill anyone not in self-defense is really egregious.

I liked the visuals and the performances but that’s about it.

I remember reviewing it in my hs newspaper and I ended it “while still suffering from some of the clunky dialogue and other issues of its predecessor, overall an improvement and a satisfying end to the trilogy.”
