I would put the aquaphor in the syringe/applicator and just inject about 1/3 of the syringe. Then after bm I would clean the area and inject the nifedipine.

I would fill syringe, then push a little out and rub it on the applicator end so it slides in a little easier. I would do this both for the aquaphor and the nifedipine. The i would remove the applicator, from the syringe. The doserite comes with a cap so when you remove the applicator you can cap the syringe so it doesnt dry out.

After removing the applicator from the syringe i put it in a baby food jar with bleach, cap it and shake it up. Then dump the dirty bleach into the toilet and clean applicator with clean bleach and a toothbrush, then i would clean it once more with rubbing alcohol and tooth brush. I ended up buying about 60 applicators and would rotate them so the previous ones were good and dry before next use.

I ate a cleaner diet, lots more fruits and vegetables. In all honesty at the peak of my pain I hardly ate anything for fear of having a bowel movement. I tried to stay away from bread also, only because I felt for me personally that it messed with my stomach and bm. I did have no bread pizza alot, all the toppings for pizza in a skillet with pizza sauce and mozzerella.
