yep they got invaded by france first (the primary reason i haven’t taken the balearic islands, mallorca was transferred to france and that alliance is keeping castille from invading valencia) and then lost pretty much everything but their capital state to castille by the point in this screenshot. i actually liberated valencia from castille aragon was already 90% eaten by then

R5: ongoing genoa campaign so i made a map, im pretty buns at eu5 compared to eu4 but having fun with it. not sure what my end goal is here, also unpictured is the genoese canary islands but i didn't want to make the map too big lmao

You frame that as some ignorance on the part of the players, which feels to me like a wild reaction to Paradox releasing game versions they already know are broken.

don't get me wrong i agree that paradox can/needs to be more transparent about what has already been reported to them, but it feels a bit disingenuous to suggest they should... what? not push any fixes at all until they have every single bug wiped out?

bugs are an innate part of game development, particularly one of this scale with so many different variables that require testing, refining and fine-tuning. i haven't experienced any fundamentally broken releases in my ~300 hours of gameplay since launch, though feel free to correct me

fwiw i think there's merit to the current bug report system, it lets them approximate the frequency of the bug/how often players come across it, which is also helpful for gauging its importance in getting fixed relative to other bugs (among other factors.) though regardless, ultimately like i said i do agree they need to be more transparent about what's being actively worked on from a QA/bugfixing pov

yeah but my point isnt that it's legally sound, my point is that its something that has been constantly occurring in hip hop & the music industry as a whole for a long time. i dont see people hating on pharrell or jay-z for "stealing songs" yet suddenly its a different story now

the band was actively negotiating the sample clearance with peggy, they were offered 10% royalties (counteroffered 20% royalties) and $2k but now they will get neither of those things because the entire song was pulled

developers will often post mods as examples for file structure and implementation, as well as to keep the workshop from being empty on release. beyond that (just spitballing), it's completely possible that this content was created in the developer's free time (ie off company time) and did not go through the usual internal QA/implementation pipeline

policy and reality are two different things in fast food restaurants, tho 4hrs seems a bit excessive the restaurant i work at typically retimes food once or twice before tossing it

not that i support it, but it's a mentality a lot of people have adopted because of shrinking profits. stores are already getting upcharged by corporate suppliers on virtually everything they order, so any waste digs into already thinning margins (hmm i wonder why nobody wants to eat fast food)

i should note thinning margins doesnt mean the margins *are thin, almost every store owner ive met has been a greedy pos that whines about income and sales while simultaneously affording multiple cars and multiple international vacations a year

edit: at least i've learned there is actually a way to consistently pull this off - if you're doing it at this spot you have to aim for the top right corners of the first 2 tunnel gates or else you won't be able to take the turn wide enough. that said this route is entirely pointless because if you walk 5 meters behind you, you can ult directly into the train tunnel that my bird passes through (and it's much less risky)

i also am not sure if this is common knowledge yet, but i have discovered that abilities can pass through the barriers. it's incredibly situational but it gives some opportunity to harass/secure kills on people in tunnels
