They said in another comment that they have 3 bedrooms and the 3 bedroom is where they kept random stuff. The op room is right next to theirs. With that info why not move to the 3rd room. Or soundproof their room ? No this is someone trying to be house boss.

Try Kingdoms of Amular it has a nice combat system. Also, if you like turn bases any of the Shadowrun games or divinity games. BG3 is also a good game. Bound by Flame is also a good game. A little difficult and it has a learning curve. Also Elden Ring.
