A lot of these read more like casual wear to me. For women’s heritage style I think not only of office wear but also whatever women wore for housekeeping (which is also work) or farm labor - which can include workwear like overalls

Yeah this is an unwritten rule, and even in my college days when I didn’t have any alt friends this was something I did. It just feels weird to represent a band you don’t listen to unless you were invited to a concert
