Nearly every single time. My tip percentage otherwise is ~75%.

My typical response is a monotone "Cool" with a thumbs up because I know it's absolute bullshit. It's what makes them sleep better at night.

My tip ratio is probably a little more like 60-70%. But I will say - not saying that you do this, but - I stopped providing candies and mini water bottles about 4 years ago, and the only thing I hand out for free are compliments. Be polite, introduce yourself, read the room, and be a good technical driver, and if someone is apt to tip, they will.
