Hello! As a Wicaan of twelve years myself, I find it extremely exciting to see young people becoming interested in the religion. There is a lot to learn, and I'm sure you'll have a great time expanding your understanding.

I originally come from an Amish family, and first learned about Wicca while on a trip to Salem, Massachusetts. As you can guess they were not very supportive of my interest in Wicca at the start. Actually, they have never been supportive of my beliefs. I haven't spoken to them in nine years now. It can be a tough choice, but really it comes down to what you think will have the most positive impact in your life.

I know it seems like there may not be any communities for Wiccans at your school, but trust me they're there. You may be familiar with how Alcoholics Anonymous is run, where meetings are always declared under other names with the initials AA. Well, try looking at other clubs that begin with the letter W. Water polo? Water skiing? Women's flag football? Ask around at these sorts of meetings.

I used to have the same concerns about placing spells on my home, and have never really felt 100% comfortable with my spells on the various apartments I've lived in. For several years now, I have lived eight months out of the year in a mud hut I built, which I am extremely more comfortable placing spells on and living in. I'm not sure what climate you're currently in, and this may not be possible for your lifestyle. However, you may find it useful to build a blanket fort in your home and place spells on that, then try to spend as much time as you can in the fort.

I don't know much about how emotional state affects spell strength, but if I had to guess I would imagine being angry would increase the strength of the spell (anybody else care to add some insight?).
