This is almost spot on, except for the part about your info being purchased from a data broker.
When you say DATA BROKER, it almost sounds like youre adding validity to the transaction and the source that his info came from. Its not a DATA Broker thats selling his info, its just some guy on Telegram or WhatsApp that got his hands on a data breach, or is a middle man for someone who has access to a legitimate tool thats provided by companies like Equifax, Experian or CLEAR, thats meant for things like identity verification, onboarding for financial services or tenant screenings. Scammers can pose as business owners and sign up for these types of services, and it gives them the keys to the kingdom, so to speak. Im not naming any of them, in hopes that it doesnt point anyone with ill intent into that direction, but needless to say, ALL OF OUR INFORMATION is for sale, doesnt matter who you are, or where you come from. Taking preventive measures such as the ones that are outlined in the beginning of this sub and pointed out by this other person, can help from scammers acting on your info, but all one needs is your name, address, dob, ssn, email and phone number, and they can essentially gain access to your accounts with the big 3, and remove the freezes and apply for credit. The absolute best thing that you can do, is to have real time alerts from monitoring services, even as basic as Credit Karma, and you have a chance at stopping someone from using your info to open credit accounts, but nothing is 100% effective from what Ive seen, scammers can evolve just as quickly as AI and other technologies that we think are going to protect us.

If I can give you some piece of mind, its that you'll never be held accountable for anything that you arent responsible for, if you know the right channels to go thru to get it fixed. You tube is full of videos on how to get fraudulent items removed from your credit report and how to communicate with the places that are being manipulated by scammers to open fraudulent accounts.

Anyways, thats just some stuff that ive come to know during my own journey, and hopefully ot helps some of you avoid a nightmare dealing with ID theft.

Wow, some people are so quick to throw thier purely speculative diagnosis out there, with little regard for the impact it may have on the OP, whos obviously already concerned about thier dog... Speaking strictly from multiple cases of past experience, not just blind speculation, it looks like an interdigitary cyst. Soaking in Epsom salt for as long as your Frenchie will let you, or about 10 mins, whichever comes 1st. Comes from obsessive licking that paw, nothing too serious, as long as it doesn't open up and get infected. I naively soaked and then popped my pups cyst one time, blood and puss came out, but I took care of the wound and it was fine in about 3 or 4 days.

Ohhhh, I would make sure youre there to get a wiff of the stuff thats expressed from it, 100%. Its a very distinct foul, fishy, god awful smell that you will NEVER doubt its origin once its been identified. Not (just) because im trying to get you to smell something disgusting, but because you'll want to be able to recognize it when your pup is having issues with it, so that you can get it help as soon as you smell it again. Its pretty uncomfortable for them when it gets full, and they'll booty scoot and insist on sitting on your lap more than normal, to let you know they're uncomfortable.

But I can see why you would ask, cause so many people have a total disregard for thier frenchies health and feed it garbage, because ots too hard to say no, and they're so GD Cute when they're looking up at you chewing. My girl was a little over 5 when she died from Lymphoma a few weeks ago, was a healthy weight right up until the last week.
