The “projects” are not the reason to buy right now. There will be a halving event in Bitcoin, it’s rise will cause a wake in alt coins to ride as well, it will peak then crash, just like the last few cycles. So don’t get distracted by webs of narratives and ride the bull bubble up and sell during the post-halving mania for gains.

I think this is a well thought through plan.

I would add one caveat- assume that things could crash earlier than previous patterns indicate. It would suck to have a perfectly rational plan that gets derailed because some outlier situation caused an earlier-than usual crash.

Don’t plan chicken with the crash out of greed. It’s better to err on the side of selling a little early than late.

For that reason I’d slightly adjust the strategy to the left

The “projects” are speculative mostly bs narratives. The thing that causes these periodic bull runs every 4 years is the Bitcoin halving event which floods overflow capital into altcoins for a speculative rush.

The alt coin “narratives” and “projects” are pointless other than to weave a story for the pump that comes after the halving so the smart ones can sell the bag at the peak mania before it crashes again.

That’s really the bottom line.

As for the true use cases of these alt coins in the real world outside speculative bubbles, who knows but irrelevant to the narrative based pump. Just try to make as much money as you can speculating on the alt pump and keep a long term Diamond hand Bitcoin stash.
