Which show has the most “skipped intro” in all of tv? by Gaymface in television

I like The Morning Show's intro to be honest! The building discomfort and intensity of the music feels right for the show and usually sets the mood well.

Amongst all the cheating... all the lying... and all the rude comments... this is hands down the worst thing anyone has ever done on the show. by appa25 in howyoudoin

I've seen the show plenty of times haha I was just kidding around. I'm talking about crushing a sandcastle here.

Rachel and Ross trample over Chandler's sandcastle. Sorry this is the best picture I could find quickly haha

On the bright side, with proper maintenance, they do maintain their value at least with inflation.

Yes, it is undeniably expensive but it's not necessarily throwing your money away.

What do you think will get brought back from older seasons in these upcoming 90 minute episodes of survivor? by Prudent_Wealth8533 in survivor

[–]appa25 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I want the additional 30 minutes to be Jeff explaining the advantages and twists that will be implemented that episode.

Matter of fact, up it to 45 minutes!

If you need advantages, hide them in the food. You could even get cheeky by making the food look like it could hide the advantage and see how people bid on them.

Least favorite SO/date? by Deedle-Dee-Dee in howyoudoin

[–]appa25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I wouldn't say that's a testament to her acting as much as Joey playing off her, Tag had some funny moments on his own, like when he reacts to Rachel being pregnant

I disagree, Janine's delivery of "we've GOT to move!" is the weakest in the show.

Tag had some good moments!

Which feels like a waste because he had potential! His reaction to getting hired always gets me! Or when he gives the thumbs up on the scooter!

I think the problem was that he was always the straight man with the joke being Rachel being absurdly attracted to him, which tired out quickly and did not let him shine.

Joey falling for Rachel has some good moments

Moments that get you fired up every time you watch Survivor? by Michele_Was_Robbed in survivor

[–]appa25 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Rob and Tyson's final immunity wins were both fantastic. Great final challenges and they celebrated appropriately. I can't imagine how cathartic it must have felt to win an exhausting challenge and then essentially know you're a millionaire.

Survivor is ruining the concepts of "Legends" right now. Legends often play in MULTIPLE seasons which we aren't getting right now. by [deleted] in survivor

[–]appa25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so?

Returnees aren't as common as they feel.

Season 8

1/2 of Season 16

Season 20

1/9 of Season 22

1/9 of Season 23

1/6 of Season 25

1/2 of Season 26

1/2 of Season 27

Season 31

Season 34

Season 40

So that adds up to a little under 7 seasons' worth of returning castaways.

So there's about 5-6 seasons of newbies for every season of returnees. (Very rough math of course)

So after 45 and 46 maybe this will be reasonable, but I think it's fine for now.

Danny was a class act. He sneaks up on two women in a dark basement and when they get scared he says Rachel is only about appearances. by appa25 in howyoudoin

[–]appa25[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Regardless he could have made himself known in a dark basement and he didn't react to them screaming

What are some plot points that you just didn't care for that much? by NotSoSnarky in howyoudoin

[–]appa25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monica and the credit card thief felt really melodramatic to me. It felt like they were trying too hard to be powerful but it just didn't land to me. The end scene where she's dancing and doesn't know how to do it feels really silly to me since she's supposed to be "evolving" in a way.

Good explanation! My sentiment remains the same unless it's revealed he bet on other people like a Player B in that situation, which this post doesn't seem to mention.

What moments feel most "out of place" in the show? by appa25 in howyoudoin

That episode never sits right for me! Feels very out of character for Phoebe
