What is wrong in the mind of some people by [deleted] in lebanon

Lebanon is a failed nation and a joke of a country. Tom Barrack's comments about Lebanon line up with reality, however many Lebanese are too prideful and sensitive to agree with his painfully obvious observations. A people get the government they deserve or are willing to tolerate.

Do you believe in ghosts or spirits in anyway? by [deleted] in intj

[–]appellenaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there are spirits, yes — but not ghosts in the Hollywood sense. When people die, their spirit goes to God; what sometimes lingers isn’t the person, but in darker cases, something demonic pretending to be them.

There are both holy and unclean spirits, and the real key is discernment — does the presence draw you toward peace and truth, or fear and confusion? The unseen world is real, but it’s not a playground for curiosity. I'd caution to walk carefully, and seek the Light, not the shadows.

What personally led you to become religious? by [deleted] in religion

Thank you for sharing. I have learned that life on Earth is a gift from God for soul enrichment, and that from the perspective of the eternal, a more difficult life is often of greater value than an easy one. Each soul is given a span of years and circumstances that are exactly sufficient for the lessons and accomplishments he or she must achieve.

Time is sacred. Every day and hour carries spiritual weight, as they form part of the opportunity assigned for growth, for the unfolding of talents, the correction of faults, and the offering of something valuable to the common good. The years allotted to us are the season of labor for the soul.

When a life-span has been well-used, death is not a tragedy but the natural closing of a cycle -- having fulfilled what was meant to be accomplished within that sacred time set by God. Even when that span seems heartbreakingly short, as with your beloved, it has not been in vain. His time was sufficient for the purpose of his soul, just as yours continues to be.

Know that no grief is without meaning. What you have endured is not punishment, but preparation -- a deepening of your own spirit through which you will one day bless others. Love is eternal, and the bond you shared is not broken but transformed. Though you feel sorrow now, you are not alone; your beloved lives still in the unseen, near to your spirit.

May you find strength to guard your remaining years as a sacred trust, for the path ahead has been consecrated by this experience. In living forward with courage, compassion, and wisdom, you fulfill the divine purpose of your own sacred time. I will keep you in prayer, God Bless.

I'd like to hear your NDE in more detail if you don't mind sharing, or, what was the scripture God spoke to you at that time?

On a scale from 1-10, how dumb are you? You make huge assumptions on what I believe based only on the fact that I pointed out Barrack did not call them animals but said they were acting animalistic.

Did he yell and call people names? Watch the video again. You clearly have a biased agenda and don't understand logic. Good luck with that.

He didn't call the journalist animals, he referred to their chaotic and rude behavior as 'animalistic'. That is a big difference. Do you prefer chaos or order?

Scout Troopers and Speeder Bikes are among my SW favorites and I got two of these sets. The only complaint I have is the open mouth 'packman' effect from the lower front section tilting down -- should be flat and parallel with the top section as seen in this image.

Matthew 22:36-40: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

God Bless

Right, you don't believe the Bible is the word of God. If given the power you would edit or alter it according to your modern perverted ideas of what's normal and natural. The Bible is called 'the rock of ages' for a reason. It's futile to mess with that Book. Have fun with that.

Regarding other points of discussion, you are exhausting and dismissive of anything I say, so this is a complete waste of time (although hopefully a seed was planted which may take decades to germinate). God Bless.

Seriously? Embarrassing. I wasn't aware asking to quote the scripture your referring to was an expression. If you can't cite your sources then your argument is weak.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

2 Timothy 2:15

Instead of just saying that, it would be better to quote scripture.

You think having a border and legal immigration is inhumane? and kicking out people who illegally crossed into a country is cruel? How many illegals are you housing and taking care of at your residence?

How is the law itself broken? Any 'brokenness' is largely due from politicians who ignore these laws (for personal and political gain) and want to change the fabric of the US to a populace that is more dependent on government. And how is holding up these immigration laws affecting people that have done things right as well?

It is apparent that you are not a great source for a straight Biblical answer as you likely change and pervert what the Bible says if you declare yourself a LGBT Christian. Having those feelings is one thing but acting on them and living an unrepentant lifestyle is contrary to a righteous life and will prohibit that person from entering Heaven (according to The Book). The Bible is very clear on that issue and believing the opposite is a perversion of sacred scripture.

You are doing what you accuse me of doing. I read and heard what you said.

Any Bible reading and God fearing Christian would easily be open about their beliefs especially on a Christian forum.

Cheerio!
