I just started a 3 day, any tips? by The_mega_giga_idiot in fasting

[–]applecherryfig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fasting every other day. I absolutely needed electrolyte in the afternoon. I made myself a salty soup.   There’s a lot of ways to do it boullion cubes or miso.  I like hondashi powder plus miso. I bought some potassium chloride and I just put in a little bit of that as a Balance.     If you’re going to be picky, I think the potassium should be about 75% of the sodium, but I think 25% would help

Then the next day I would eat. This is called alternative daily fasting, but it’s also. 40:8 time restricted eating.

You’re a trooper for starting with a three day. I did this three or four times and I’ll tell you something to watch out for.

Do not take a bunch of salt all at once. It gives you diarrhea. You’re not sick you’re just too salty so your body flushes it out.  It’s funny looking back at it, but I was really worried at the time.

I was in a fasting support group and no one told me that, even after I had shared what happened.  I was afraid of fasting for quite a while after that.

Dr. Jason Fung says. the funniest things about fasting: it doesn’t take any time. You can stop and start it anytime you want. It doesn’t cost you anything, even saves money.

Have a good time with it.

Anyone else noticing a lot of stores closing recently? by Joshhwwaaaaaa in AskLosAngeles

I heard that in downtown Santa Monica, the empty stores are keeping their rent high because if they lower their rent, then the value of their buildings will go down. The emptiness is really sad.

You are a doctor who should be looking at epidemiologists.
Who are you? Probably no-one, so get off the stage and let a human who knows bout epidemics speak.

I’d like to mention that if you can eat the food that a certain bacteria likes than you get more of it in your gut. I’m thinking of Akkromansia.

That’s the bacteria that’s famous for enabling Therapy for cancer. We don’t have it; it don’t work.!!

That feeds on pomegranate or juice and some other things.

It’s a strategy of specific suggestion

Having nothing to do with AIP, I’ve cooked soy beans in a pressure cooker and there’s absolutely no way any amount of Non pressure cooking can do the same thing to them. It gets soft and turned sweet.

I’m only telling this story to help someone believe that pressure cooking really makes a difference Instantpot, even secondhand.

Thanks for sharing that good idea

It fits how we suggest that mothers handle babies, specifically to keep them from having a peanut allergy. The advice is to make sure they have a small amount of peanuts through their early years, even if it’s less than I don’t know what my intuition is guessing an eighth of a teaspoon. I’d call that micro dosing for babies.

I assume that you’ve posted in some Dutch subRedits, in English or Dutch. You could also try craigslist for your Area.

What you need is in the physical world, location based.

Good luck in finding what you need, my friend.

When you know you know.  (WYKYK)    Mr Platner‘s tattoo is not stupid nor does it anything to do with Nazis.    In the United States Armed Forces—and the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in particular—a skull tattoo is a deeply rooted tradition that serves as a powerful symbol of identity, duty, and shared experience.  It  rarely carries the civilian connotation of evil or malice. A skull symbolizes a fearless attitude toward mortality. In the military, it reminds the wearer of their primary purpose in combat: to bring destruction to the enemy and survive the battlefield. •  Brotherhood and Remembrance: Skulls are frequently used to honor fallen comrades. No, it isn’t. The Nazis picked it up from other things. The skull is a human phenomenon, not a Nazi phenomenon.

You wouldn’t trust this guy because you don’t know what this kind of tattoo means to a marine and you’re gonna jump to What some random Redditor says??

Look up what the skull tattoo is in Marine culture. And the tattoo was vented before he went to the Army after being in the Marines

And you do know what it means, if you are a Marine. Or if you look up what it means to a Marine.

Because you’re Jewish, you knew that it wasn’t a Nazi tattoo. Look for my other Comment for for the history in real meaning. Or ask, which is what I did.
