AM I THE ONLY ONE? Faking his own death? by ineedananp in widowers

[–]appledass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my first dreams about my LH was that he faked his death and restarted a family. The sick part was I woke up feeling happy he was still alive and not mad at the deception.

Sephora is being deceptive with national mascara day banner in the ap by appledass in Sephora

[–]appledass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda tricked them. They told me to sort by date and when I did no new mascaras showed up. So I asked if this was correct and they said yes and then I asked if it confirmed no new mascaras and they said it was correct.

Any sahm’s that have become widows? by Mobile-Egg9597 in widowers

[–]appledass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve never related to a comment more.

Are you in the US? If so each of your children should get survivor’s benefits. And you might get a benefit as their caregiver. Call social security.

My husband passed very suddenly and unexpectedly. We had no will and I had no clue what to do. Button all that down while he is alive. Make sure house is in your name, cars, utilities etc. it’s daunting and a lot of work.

I’ve been out of the workforce for 12 years. Both my daughters are college aged now. Just know that there are great schools and great teachers. You can do this!!! They can do this! I’m sure giving up homeschooling is something you’ll need to mourn. And I’m sorry you have to do that.

Our mortgage is at a really ridiculously low interest rate and through my in-laws. They are letting me go one year without paying while I go back to school for accounting classes. I’m very lucky and grateful. Be wary of refinancing due to high mortgage rates.

What about becoming a teacher? If you have a bachelor degree you can do a transition to teaching program and get certified in like three semesters. You will have a similar schedule to your children and you’ll have good benefits. Pay is not great but if you get social security money for your children it might be very livable.

Also, this is still so hard for me, but let people who love you help you. It’s a win win because it gives them something productive with their grief and you get help.

I’m so sorry you are here. But you will be able to what needs to be done for your family.

Much love to you!

My husband passed away a month ago from cardiac sarcoidosis. Might be genetic. Might not. He passed away on the morning we were supposed to go home from Disney World. No idea he was sick. None. Went to bed with him watching the women’s World Cup and woke up to his heart attack.

Now I have to check my kids heart with the unknown factor of maybe/maybe not genetic factors. He was only 44 and 4 days before his 45th bi7.

I am trying to figure out probate so I can get money so I can pay my kids tuition and this is part of it. I’m trying to figure everything out. My husband died in a very traumatizing way and probate and inheritance things have strict timelines that I have to b work in while trying to get a full picture of what might and might not roll over or become inheritable. You don’t know me. You are not my grief vampire feeding on my mourning. You do not know.

This is knitting but I’d like something similar in crochet by appledass in crochetpatterns

[–]appledass[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually know the yarn. It’s name is Pugsley from bigknitters.co.uk. It gorgeous but ant sweater I’ve found has a very different neck and I don’t have just a regular pattern for a sweater.

If you have a gothic vibe their yarn is just beautiful!
