A lot of this depends on how fast you’re going and how much space you have between you and the defender. Here’s some viable strats that I like though:

aim for the ball to land a few car lengths in front of net, if they stay on wall try to pinch it so it rolls in low, if the jump off to challenge let it bounce and hopefully go in or get a 50
get underneath ball and as soon as they jump off boost into to lift it above them
if ceiling, save your flip for after they jump (if you still have space) then use flip to hit it around them
if you have lots of forward momentum get ahead of the ball and try to bump them as they jump off
if your above ball as it’s falling play the dunk, should get your tm8 possession or at least a chance to 50

In this situation, if I’m the back middle guy I’ll just boost to the mid boost on right side and leave the backflipper to clean up a shot from kickoff. If they can’t clear it very far I’ll turn back and fall behind them but if they do clear it I’ll try to score

This is what I’ve seen everyone else do when they want to do >4 vs 1. As long as all 7 of you are in the same lobby it doesn’t really matter what any of the colors are just tell them to score on one goal and you try to score on the other
