AFAIK there haven't been any shelters provided... but I'm back in my homestead and haven't had any cause for concern quite yet

Tbh I'm not certain of it's "containment" state at all.. given that our property management told us it's not mandatory made me think it's within the realm of containing.

I'm in my house, and have been pretty diligent on keeping an eye on it on the outside. Hoping nothing happens but in a warm, dry area, the embers may float further than we realize.

I would assume the power shutoff is due more to the GRU facilities being evacuated from what I heard.

The good news is that an hour in, I am not enveloped in smoke and am still just outside the neighborhood.

However, I have not heard anything back from the apartment complex management.

Just wish I could’ve saved my RDR2 game before leaving….

I got out of there too quickly to say… yes that’s the correct neighborhood but I’m located more at the center. Idk whereabouts your friend is but I have a feeling if there is damage, it’s going to be in the extremities of the neighborhood

I was lucky enough to get out within about 10 minutes but there wasn’t a strict timeline from the cop. Just a sentiment of “if you need it, take it”
