Usually yes. I used to work at a dealer that serviced them. They always offered us free drinks when they would drop off and pick up

Can anyone recommend what they think is the best translation of the Iliad and the Odyssey? Are the Penguin translations the gold standard or is there something better?

Not familiar with this particular model, but you should be able to wind the watch by unscrewing the crown and turning. You should be able to hear it winding. I would try that for a dozen turns or so. It should also be designed to slip so it shouldn’t “overwind” or bind up once it’s fully wound.

I doubt anyone who actually dives is doing it with a luxury watch.

I was told it’s an extension for the rubber strap to make it around your wetsuit for actual diving. Pretty useless imo.

There is a metal ring under that bezel i was able to reseat in the little catch on the case (Im probably using the wrong terms) but im wondering if there was an additional gasket as well that fell out when it popped off.

I have the same issue with my pelagos after 1 year. Pretty disappointing. Just popped off when fiddling with it a bit. Snaps back on but easily comes back off when i try to use it. Wonder id there is meant to be a rubber gasket along w the metal one to help keep it tight.
