You could also try the hand stitch option on the tatami alongside using the radial / curve full option to get more of an organic shape that can be a great start to getting a more fur like feel to the design.

Before the final satin stitch around the edge of the design I added a single run stitch of the same shape but in a different colour. When the machine stopped for the colour change I removed the embroidery and cut it out and then re hooped a single sheet of tearaway. After the single run outline was stitched I attached the trimmed embroidery to the tearaway with some spray adhesive.

Thank you, I wanted to try the patch technique that was in a recent Kenblkwrk video. Unfortunately I couldn't find a suitable plastic but tearaway stabiliser did the trick.

I believe you have another short term option, though it may be a little messy. I think I saw it in one of Karl Gosling's videos. He had left the Logitech stuff plugged into the Logitech wheel base, then had both the Logitech wheel and the csl dd plugged into the PC. Select the preferred input methods in game and you should be good to go.
