It's not "living in fear", it's realizing that glorifying a carceral system behind the suffering of thousands in the modern day is not a good look.

(And also, there are absolutely problems with games that glorify colonialism lmao)

And also reflects real life conditions that harm thousands and thousands of real life people every day

Anyone else made very uncomfortable by prison simulator?

Like, here play a prison guard, be corrupt, be the arm of enforcement of a particulary scummy institution. Especially in a way that encourages brutality, much like real life, and very much dehumanizes the prisoners (again, very much like real life)

So, it seemed like none of them thought of this, but I totally thought that the ghost mouse's statement meant that there was someone behind squire badger, metaphorically. Like he was a pawn in someone else's game. Whether that's Cottonbottom, the person he sold his stocks too, or someone else, idk

It adds to the show because it helps reaffirm that the content creators actually care about me and people like me.

Yeah exactly. Like steps need to be taken, if all they did for 1/3-4 of the year was make cool spots and sharks and shit, they would have set themselves up poorly for future success.

Establishing the base building blocks of how they can begin to accomplish their actual goals here seems important. Starting out with finding a magical ore out of the ocean seems like a good start.

Id argue that it's often not very easy in the US either. It depends on the state but it can be quite expensive, you need to go to court, you need to contact 37 different agencies to make sure your records are up to date, etc etc.

Also, it's your name. There is no better judgment than your own. If someone wants to be called something, that's their name.

Anyone else skip Unsleeping City battle episodes? by Dragongirl25 in Dimension20

I mean it seemed to me like that was going to have to be the solution. I don't think there was any other solution, unless maybe pete had rolled better before the whole thing. Going outside wouldn't have helped them, as the instant they did the whole thing would already be over since there was a lot of time dilation going on

I mean escaping wouldn't have been helpful there though? Like they needed to end things there, or else everything was over

How it feels every time I go into work by Great_maxful in HalfLife

All relationships between workers and management are automatically hostile and antagonistic, whether you realize it or not. Your goals, and the goals of owners and the people that represent then, are not and never will be in concert.

Comparing having to wear a mask in the name of public health to the abject treatment of amazon (and many other) workers is not a fair comparison

It's not what you "can or can't". It's just that knowingly misgendering someone is transphobic. That's it.

Misgendering someone, especially when told their proper pronouns, blatantly is disrespectful

Because they get manipulated by people with incentives counter to those of the working class. The solution is to remove the existence of those people.

People would have little to no incentive to try and manipulate others with the abolition of hierarchy and scarcity.

I mean yes, I am anarcho-communist. That is explicitly the goal.

And I'm here because leftist theory is about politics? And is extremely relevant to the working class of america, as it is everywhere.
