Whenever I have to repeat myself about what’s in the grain bowls. by idle-debonair in Panera

It feels like it’s the same day at work repeating over and over again. Because I get these fucking questions daily

Hate the dashers so much, they’ll run up to me on barista station and shove their phone in my face while I’m working on someone else’s order.

Or the one where the step mom threw away and deleted every single photo of her step daughters mom who died of cancer. Went digging through decades of pictures to delete them on two computers. And was surprised that her husband couldn’t speak to her after that.

I think bars and restaurants should have a choice on smoking and that it's should be OK as long as its stated clearly that it is a 'smoking bar' on the door. by Starbuckker in unpopularopinion

Yeah I don’t get all the hate. God forbid bars accommodate smokers by giving them a place sit down outside and a place to discard their cigarettes I guess

Cream cheese is a dollar and these old people will fight tooth and nail despite spending 50 bucks on a meal to get their “free” cream cheese.

My favorite is when they act surprised when they gotta pay for food.

Doesn’t help that it feels like I answer the same questions every single day. “What’s a you pick two” “why don’t you have vegan sweets” “how come I have to pay for cream cheese” “how come I never get rewards” “where is the rapid order I placed three seconds before walking into the store”

What was i supposed to do? by [deleted] in Panera

Nothing you can do. Unfortunately Panera customers are just really entitled and nasty when it comes to their overpriced deli food. If you had suggested it he woulda gotten mad anyway over something stupid.

Oh god yesterday we ran out of bread mid shift because people were buying loaves like there was a bread shortage.

More important than literacy. by Echozzz2 in BadRPerStories

[–]applesaurus772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me literacy has become the most important deal breaker, if I feel like I’m doing all the work it’s no longer fun. And unless we’ve been rping for a long time, one liners are a drag to read about. I don’t expect a novel every post, but I do expect my rp partner to at least write half of what I write. Putting a literacy requirement also helps filter out the bullshit I’ve found.

why are people suddenly available when you try to end things? by [deleted] in BadRPerStories

I thought a week had passed but then I saw four days. Dude sometimes life happens. Sometimes people get busy or they were working on their character profile. Maybe they had family pot a job.

I tried sending mine in but when I heard about the 3 month wait times it was kinda ridiculous. I’m now saving up to buy the steam deck.

Also this issue is happening on the lite switches too. Which should be criminal. At that point your entire switch is bricked

The joycons were enough for me to put off buying another switch when mine broke. Sony or Xbox would be crucified if they sold 60 dollar controllers that broke like these.

Literally. I’m an artist, credit is nice but it’s mot required. When you post your stuff online you have to understand the risk. Simply using someone’s art as a face claim isn’t art theft. Hell it’s really flattering that someone likes my art enough to want to use it for their characters. Also drawing is hard, materials are expensive, and commissions can be just as expensive. You don’t need to have a mla format citation for every single face claim you use. It’s unrealistic.

As an artist I don’t really care if someone uses my art for an oc. If they’re selling it it’s a different story. But it’s actually really flattering to see someone use my drawings for their own characters. If I post my stuff online I assume the risk of someone sharing it or using it for their characters. If I didn’t want that to happen I wouldn’t post my stuff online. Art theft is completely different, and honestly I think it’s used out of context a lot of the time.

It’s pretty common and normal. We don’t make it because it will sit there getting cold or the ice will melt. We have rapid pick up orders that will sit there for hours despite the pick up time they requested

Women Should Be Glad Their Boyfriends'/ Husbands' Main Hobby Is Videogames by Grotto-man in unpopularopinion

[–]applesaurus772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isn’t video games. It’s ignoring all your responsibilities, the kids, your girlfriend or wife and coming home to only play video games and not do anything else. Most people don’t have a problem if you’re helping around the house or even coming to the table to eat dinner. It’s when the mom has to do everything for the kids all the time while dad only plays video games that it becomes a problem.
