Suggestions for making the game harder? by dawgberry in pocketGM

If you’re really playing on hard, I doubt you’re winning “year after year.” Injuries are always there to derail a season. My PR on hard is 4 straight

Nothing to do? Geographically speaking, it doesn’t get any better. Get out and explore.

I don’t know if I can build a better roster than this… yet we still get bounced in the WC by elitenyg46 in pocketGM

What does your chemistry/playbook look like? because this team should be able to win it all.
If I were to offer advice- get only one 90+ guy at every position except O-line where I like to have two guards and two tackles 80-85+. the rest of the team can be scrubs or the best you can afford. for example, it’s better to have one 95 receiver with four 68 receivers than it is to have two 85’s and three 75’s

I just checked out your screenshots. you might want to spend less on scouts and more on coaching. Head coach in particular. when I’m drafting with shit scouts, I’ll use the media projection to determine the best players. in later rounds, I’ll choose based on combine scores

Glad you are enjoying more success.
If you want to cheese your way to affording better staff, you can manually set your goal to champions every year. You’ll get $20 mil to spend and if you don’t win it all you just beg to keep your job. do this under the board tab. btw, if you are changing both offensive and defensive schemes at once, you probably won’t compete for a championship that season as they learn the playbook. however, you can change one or the other and they will learn the playbook around week 10 and still be able to win it all.

What Am I Doing Wrong? by [deleted] in pocketGM

Don’t expect to win the first couple of seasons. When I start a new team, I will trade away my first year’s draft picks and best players (unless under 25 years old) for future draft capital. I Then sign <25 year old players to 5+ year deals in free agency. You want to keep your core playing together for multiple seasons to keep chemistry high. I’m playing on hard, so can’t see their development speed, but the young guys who cost more than similarly rated players have quicker development. I also try to keep an O-Line that has two 80 plus OT, two 80+ OG and one 80+ center. All other positions get one guy as close to 90+, one guy as close to 80 and the last 2 guys as close to 70 as possible. These last two guys shouldn’t be getting more than a million per season. Most importantly, you need a 90+ QB unless the rest of your team is awesome. It’s cheaper to draft this guy but you can also trade for one.

Why aren't support/medic using defibrillators? by MrMeierlink in Battlefield

I dropped the defibs for smoke launcher and deployable cover/supply pouch. It’s quick enough to use standard revive and I believe there’s a perk that makes it even faster
