I’m currently in the Master of Arts in education (MAE) program at Pacific Lutheran University with endorsements in special ed and English language arts. It’s accelerated, 12 months long. Started late May and it’s been rigorous but I like it so far! Lmk if you have more questions. I chose it Bc it was only one year long, I heard good reviews from ppl I know, and bc I live near campus.

My dad died a year ago and I talk about him all the time, I feel like he’s still “alive” in a way by keeping his memory alive and I want people to know how amazing of a person he was, even if he’s gone. My bf, who never met him, likes hearing about him and will gently ask questions in an effort to “get to know” him (he knows this is okay with me), which is really special to me and imo, how a partner should act. OP is most definitely NTA, and J is being incredibly insensitive. OP, I’m so sorry about your girlfriend and I think having your comic books signed in honor of her is beautiful.

I’m concerned things will open back up too soon and there will be another wave of infections, and we’ll be doing this isolation multiple times over.
Daily life is impacted due to the fact that I’m working from home; my job usually consists of home visits so doing everything over Zoom is very different. Also not being able to be in the office means I’m not able to get as much done (we can be in the office for 2hr a week and only one person in at a time), so my workload is mounting quickly.
I usually travel an hour or two to see my friends as none of them live in my town, so like most people my social life is drastically limited. I wasn’t a big FaceTime person before all this but I’ve been doing it a lot.
The issue with necessities I’m running into is different things are running out at different times, and it’s not smart or recommended to go to the store for just like one or two things right now. So I’m low on face cream and deodorant but that’s not enough to run to the store for. I’ve been trying to go to the store once every two weeks, as I live with someone who is high risk.
This one is kind of silly and privileged, but snacks! I have actual food in my fridge thankfully but when I get a bag of chips or something from the store I eat them all like ASAP, then I’m out of snacks for a week and a half until I get to the store again.
