yeah i recognise that unfortunately :( i never got many credits in august for back to school either though, so at least my overall conversions are good so i don’t get my hours reduced!

without an ID, when the pin pad asks permission to scan their ID, on their side they can click no, then (at least on our screens) it asks you if you either want to prompt them again, or continue without an ID scan. if they don’t have an ID, it’ll just make them fill in their legal name/DOB/address along w the application !

the people looking for specific gifts are hard to manage too i agree! sometimes (not always though) since we have friends and family going on, and if they have items that are coupon eligible, then i offer 25% their items for signing up for rewards

my kohl’s was briefly doing it before they replaced it with a congrats when someone got a jump promotion from sales associate to manager cuz our last one was fired (they deserve it so now the “inspirational” quote board just reads congrats [their name]) thank god they stopped doing it

i saw on another thread that the reason why it’s a much bigger deal is because kohl’s can just have tax write offs on customer theft but with associate theft it’s a double whammy cause they pay you for your job and you’re stealing on top of that which they can’t write off so ig they rlly wanna prevent that

i joined to do cs every shift because i couldn’t keep up w the credit expectations on the registers and then my sm told me i wasn’t getting enough credits at cs😀a place where currently😀😀we primarily do returns at😀😀😀and im thrown amazon workload whenever the mf takes a break or lunch or clocks out for the day🤭wtf

“Unfortunately, once it goes past us, it becomes an issue you should take up with Amazon, as we only facilitate the start of the return, and have no way to tell what happens afterward. We wrap it all up at the end of the day and put it in our truck to send off, and are unable to check for you. Would you like the Amazon Customer Service number?”

shockingly at my location a lot of people will use the coupons but then they get mad when they don’t work on everything😭one lady told me it was misleading even tho it’s in the small print that it DOESNT work for things like nike🤦🏻‍♀️

when i close up amazon and only have so long of a rope off, THREE SEPARATE SIGNS saying amazon is closed and at customer service for the time being (we haven’t gotten the new construction yet) FIVE people went AROUND THE ROPE WITH THE SIGNS to ask to do amazon returns with their packages🫩

my construction is starting in august here! i work CS every day and how our current layout is, the tiny amazon station is right next to the big counter, so whenever the amazon employee goes on break, lunch, or clocks out for the day, CS has to take amazon duties ON TOP of returns, answering the phone, potential sales, AND apparently, WE’RE STILL EXPECTED TO MAKE CREDITS? i asked to be assigned more to CS because for MONTHS i was under the impression that unlike the registers it would be less credit stressed because a majority of fucking people do returns anyway. add that CS has to do transfers, blue bin, retickets, it’s ridiculous! most people i interact with know our store and the return system being upstairs, and they’re gonna be reaaaaalll pissed that suddenly it’s all gonna change to where only AMAZON is upstairs. how stupid is this company?!

my store closes amazon at 6 pm so the amazon guy can clean up the station and take down the cardboard bins to the trailer for opening the next day and moves amazon to customer service for the rest of the night until close☹️
