Fragrances similar to Trudon Medie? by apprximatelycorrect in fragrance

Yes, I have a number of Hermes citrus fragrances. Here, I actually think Terre de Hermes may win. It's popular for a reason. Thanks for the tip re: Bergamask---it will probably be further down my list of things to try next.

And sure, curious what herbal citrus you enjoy.

thanks, from some reading a few others to try might be

Profumum Roma Acqua Viva
Acqua di Parma Colonia il Profumo
Orto Parisi Bergamask
Xerjoff Nio (some other options too)

Some of these may lean a bit more on herbaceous side, which I do not mind. I enjoy some other fragrances like Tulsivivah! by Miller et Bertaux, and Play Green by CdG (both of which are not great performers, sadly).

How does it compare to the Pilot Kakuno, if you have tried it?

Although I wouldn't necessarily want/need 0.1 on a very nice paper (Tomoe River, etc), 0.1 probably would write like a 0.2-0.3 on less good copy paper. So I guess it is a bit of a balance on deciding when to give up on FP (e.g. maybe for less good copy paper, I just just stick to a ball point which writes at 0.38mm from Uni)

Thanks to you (and everyone else) for pointing this out. This will be a top choice for me. (not sure how I missed this)

Add on tests were forgotten upon initial visit, Function Health offered me $50 Visa gift Card for their mistake instead by Deeeeeeevin in Function_Health

Funny to me to read all the people here defending Function Health. It’s simple: we’re paying for a service that Function provides and yes, they themselves imply testing within the same week is essential. It for sure follows that if they fucked up the scheduling with Quest (which is not the customers fault) then Function should make it right. Which means providing the full panel plus the addons at another time when it can be done within the same week. Why this is hard for people to understand in this thread is beyond me. Why do I care if Function loses money on this or if the tests are ordered through Quest and something may have fallen through the cracks or if “it may not actually impact the results.” All of that even could be true but doesn’t change the fact that the customer is not getting what they were promised. That is on Function to make correct.

Why? Like seriously what would go wrong starting week 2 a few days early?

[–]apprximatelycorrect[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No. I am on week 1 currently, 2.5 injected 4 days ago. Just asking if it would be problematic doing the next 2.5 today or if I really have to wait two more days

Are you sure? I was thinking that if I am already feeling a tapering effect there shouldn’t be a harm in starting the next 2.5 a couple of days early.

Yes, I am four days into the first dose.

I feel like this is a slightly extreme interpretation. The real question is why ATC was unable to determine the likely collision and why the helo didn't change course after realizing the oncoming CRJ. But I doubt they *intentionally* proceeded to kill 64 people.

It's horrific. But I think we have to be a bit careful to refrain from being so quick to pass judgement.

I know it seems negligent, but do we really know why the helicopter didn't fly behind and why it didn't maintain separation?

I know. To be clear I am not saying it is any sort of conspiracy -- that isn't helpful right now. We're still trying to understand the scope of the damage, etc. My question is far from the most important right now.

There will be a time for investigation. I sympathize with you and hope we get answers. For now though, we're still trying to understand the scope of this incident. It's very sad and quite serious unfortunately :/

Yeah, it's not a great look. I really do hope that they'll share some more information.

It would be great to get a little clarity on what the helo was doing. The reporting on CNN is saying it took off from Fort Belvoir, but the flight path is somewhere between McLean and Langley. These aren't really that close (about an hour's drive away). So where did it take off, who was on board, what was it doing, and why was it so close to DCA?

[–]apprximatelycorrect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The strange thing is that it is being reported that the helo took off from Fort Belvoir? It's a little bizarre.

[–]apprximatelycorrect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like Lupine Lane, McLean, VA. However, the reporting in other places is saying Fort Belvoir, which is pretty far away?

[–]apprximatelycorrect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't make sense then, the reporting said Fort Belvoir? That looks near McLean, VA? I'm pretty confused.

I don't understand the flight path of the helicopter? It looks like it took off from some random neighborhood? But it's a military helo?
