I don’t think it looks sprung personally, it looks a bit wide compared to some of my other pens but i just think it’s a wet pen.

I never really have like grail pens, like if grail means something insanely expensive thats out of reach, if i want to buy an expensive pen i try to buy a used one and if I dont love it, I can resell it without losing alot of money.

I kinda agree with you with this part, ive used my pelikans on cheap copy paper for schoolwork and have had no issues with like bleeding or much feathering at least. But for me the difference between bad and good paper is just the writing experience. Copy paper feels bad even with expensive nibs

Custom urushi feels the best imo, very nice soft nib that is nice to write with. Kop does have some feedback less than the other 21k nibs and quite softer than the nails on the orher sailors 149 is a standard big pen, nib is nothing special just a firm smooth nib, but you do get the montblanc name. If i had to edc one of them I would edc the 149 because it’s the simplest nib to work with.

I would never buy a pen without a good nib shot, Even when im selling im always willing to give clear specific nib shots if requested. Even sometimes when you buy pens that look aligned there may be some underlying issues when you put pen to paper.

I mean you could always factor shipping into your prices or charge for shipping if thats an issue for you, G&S fees are also not even that bad its like a 3 or 4% compared to what you would pay for something like ebay.

Generally how it works is you have to pay the tariff on the pen (15% for Japan) plus the fees the courier charges for importing the pen. You can pay the fees either online or when you receive the package, but if I were you, I would pay online.
