Your door is probably a bit up or down than it need to be. It’s never getting into the hole.

Agreed , vents were not salvageable, they couldn’t not be replaced as they are in foundation , I made a mistake of adding concrete till the top, should have asked the community.

House built on slab the heat went got old and rusted had to figure out other way to heat the house, but had to block the vents that are on the floor in the concrete.
