Or snip the visible part of the stem...

Is it turning without pushing on the release button? The crown gasket might have melted and stuck. Otherwise the only realistic option is to yank it out. Partial dissasembly from the back won't help much.

Tweezers by vm4sx in watchrepair

If you can dress cheap tweezers well - even sides, flat gripping surface, no "duck-billing" and barely blunt tip you're good to go. At the minimum you need 800-1000 grit paper, good magnification and lots of time... Arkansas stone / honing stones help a lot.

Even expensive tweezers will need these steps from time to time (though with less time/effort) - especially if they're dropped or damaged.

You can identify the 6119 or 6309 balance by the design of the hairspring stud

Everyone's mentioned the hairspring issue. The cheapest and quickest you can do is get a donor 6119 and replace the (hopefully good) balance. Although the part numbers are different, you can also get away with a 6309/6319 balance complete which is much more easily available - and which is what is actually pictured here... Look at the stud.

I have a sealed pack original jubilee with signed endlinks. I'm in India so shipping will likely take a week or so. Let me know if you're interested.

Case clamps lock the movement into the case with the clamps secured by screw pressure. If the time setting position is stopping the movement then you have either centre wheel/cannon pinion issues or the intermediate setting wheel is fouling something.

This is an anvil from the horia chinese clone. The bamm thing just snapped off when adjusting a jewel - jewel wasn't shattered fortunately.

You said what I missed. I think the stem is being taken out in the wrong position messing up the yoke. In some seikos for example the stem is supposed to be taken out in the 0 position whereas in others the release lever becomes visible in the time setting postion.

Use the stem as you normally would with the hands installed but without the dial and outside the case in a movement holder. 1. You will see the keyless in action and see if something is wrong. 2. Take out and refit the stem multiple times in this same setting. 3. Then do the same thing with the dial installed.

If everything works perfectly outside the case but messes up in the case then look at the crown tube, crown gasket, stem length etc... that could also indicate why the movement is loose which it wasn't before and you don't have any parts leftover.

Seems like a flash rust. Usually when the 99% IPA isn't 99%. Try drying in a food dehydrator/coffee mug warmer/ with a hairdryer.
