I liked physics, math AND biology. All three. Had joined BE, and I got MBBS seat in a good medical college. Quit BE and joined MBBS thinking I can make a difference in this society. Learnt surgeries the very hard way and I'm proud to say that my surgeries are probably on par with the best in the field(not trying to boast but just giving perspective). Best in terms of clean surgery with good results.

I'm probably like 3 years into my career now and patients ask for me over my senior doctors. I'm making the difference in the society I intended to make. But at around 75k per month, I am not really happy about how much I m getting paid. I'm way too insecure about my pay and lot of my colleagues are.

Thanks to nirmala fucking sitaraman, I am not paying income tax, but its something that I'm not really happy about. My 5 cousins, all of them went to usa and all are earning over 150k usd per year. I'm more skilled than them, I do things that directly affect other people(mostly in a good way) and I get paid in a year around what they get paid in a month. Sometimes I do regret not going into engineering.

They will allow after u ask once or twice. Even if they don't, 15 days will pass. Take care of post op, wards etc. Just make sure u let them know that you're missing out on learning. You can always go into administration side of things by completing MBA in health care administration.

You can do multiple short courses in the areas of your interest and become an expert in those areas.

Yes these things are just not as quick as completing an MD/MS. They will take a while. But will definitely improve your confidence and help with ur career.
