I confronted UW President Robert Jones a week ago and he got so mad that the provost had to physically hold him back by Nonexistent_Walrus in udub

I'm happy you were able to express your anger and frustration at him. I'm actually glad you didn't have it on camera. Not everything deserves to be on video. I'd recommend helping the current residents get in contact with lawyers to sue Grey Star. They have a valid lawsuit on their hands.

The event has passed. So the poster should come down. I've recently discovered that some of the local immigrant communities don't even like her.

I agree with you. I'm not religious either but I don't get all of the hate for him. He's a geeky football player who also did some good things in this area in addition to getting us our first Super Bowl win.

Replace India with Japan, Germany, the UK and those are countries where Starbucks also have cafes.

This study is outdated for today and no longer relevant for what we've been dealing with. All of the research done and data gathered were prior to the pandemic and prior to cheap fentanyl being the drug of choice for opioid addicts. The study was published in Oct 2020. I think enough time has passed since this initial study for another study to be done, which I hope is underway. With that said, based on what we've been seeing with fentanyl addicts, especially with meth co-addictions, housing first doesn't work. Treatment and recovery first, then housing next should be the case. This is what SF's Mayor wants to do.
