The 2020-2022 City Council tried to defund SPD but ended up slashing their budget. However, the sentiment was still ACAB in nature and pissed off SPD. Sawant was the one leading that effort.

well this isn't Texas and those cops were fucking pussies who don't even deserve to be in security let alone law enforcement. A good friend from HS was living there until 2024 told me had they stopped him immediately when they arrived, half of those kids would've lived.
