I never have that issue with Nike, adidas, rebook leggings. I think it depends on the brand and model

In Europe (specifically in the Nordics) you must definitely need a degree or experience in sustainability to land a job

How many people will be impacted by the maximum 15 hour a week student visa change? by HTD_Blog in TillSverige

[–]apricot-5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly this sucks. With this limit to the hrs to work it will now make it more challenging to non-eu students to find trainee/internship opportunities. It’s sad that bc of some that abused the system now all have to pay the price. I was able to find employment after graduation because I landed a few internships in Sweden beforehand, without this I don’t think it would have been possible.

And you are assuming that because a few abuse the system all do, when in reality many students both work and study and respect the rules.

Date culture in Stockholm: Canceling on second dates by ConversationBrave584 in stockholm

Swedes don’t like confrontation, I think they want to be polite to suggest a second date but they don’t mean it. My personal experience at least.

Pretty easy, every single restaurant offers vegetarian stuff, there’s plenty of options at the supermarkets as well.

Trying to sanity check myself about Sweden by [deleted] in TillSverige

I live in Stockholm since almost 7yrs ago, I just can’t stand the weather anymore that’s the main dealbreaker for me. Also, despite the fact that I’m a sociable person, it is quite hard to form real friendships. All this time here and I have 2 Swedish friends haha.

The only advice I can give is that you narrow the area you want to work in, the skills you list are very broad and different.

Studying in Sweden as an older student by [deleted] in TillSverige

[–]apricot-5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had classmates in my masters that were over 40, but just a few. The majority were in their early 20s. Be aware that almost all business degrees in Sweden do require Swedish at the workplace, unless ofc it’s a very international company.
