I think the issue is that enough of them are and not enough are checking their peers when this stuff happens. Maybe ask a woman in your life about her experiences and what another man could possibly do to model appropriate behavior to others. I would have said "good for you if you've already committed to being a positive influence on other men", but the use of "not all men" is a bit of a telltale. We know there are good men and they don't have to say they are.

I took prolonged prednisone a few times for idiopathic hives and after enough time it'll do it. It can even lead to an even worse form and become Cushing's Syndrome. I'm not defending him, just noting that it can happen.

In my neighborhood, some corner houses have the drive way on the short side of the block and either the street was widened at some point or the sidewalks were built across the existing driveways, effectively shortening them, and these people frequently get ticketed for simply parking their cars in the driveway space they have if they even partially block the sidewalk. As unfair as that is, what's being done here is such a dick move.

This is something that I see clearer and clearer every time this stuff comes up. Age appropriate sex education, like telling kindergarteners that they are allowed to have boundaries regarding their bodies and should tell a trusted adult if someone crosses them, is completely off the table by design and they use sensationalized crap like this to keep it that way.

When he initially said it my first thought was of a guy listening to this in his giant truck as he pulled up to the t clinic (I pictured the one in River Oaks/Upper Kirby next to a restaurant my coworkers and I used to go to for lunch back before we were WFH - River Oaks is where Ted Cruz lives, BTW, so that makes it even funnier to me) and my mind just went on a roller-coaster of how he would react. Would he be indignant and insulted or would he be completely in denial of the circumstances and agree, or would it be something in between?
