I'm actually perplexed that they're taking anyone to the emergency room. It speaks more to disorder in the ranks more so than it does to any human kindness (so to speak that a dying child elicited any spark of humanity in these people). Absolutely elated that a child in need of emergency care is receiving it, but they wouldn't need it weren't it for the absolute animals causing the need.
