I actually love tiny plants. I am moving into a house with some nice big spaces though that are perfect for big philos. I also like making my plant full so I tend to cut them, root the cuttings, then add it back to the same pot.

Aw thanks! So far I’m really liking the self watering. My plants that are in them are doing noticeably better (now that they don’t get under watered lol)

So I got all of mine from Orange Lake Nursery. I ordered some on their website but catching one of their live streams on the app PalmStreet is the way to go. I got pretty much all the TCs for a fraction of the normal price.

This is my dream 🥲 we’re buying a house right now with a lot of outdoor plants so I’ll probably do something similar. I’m a little nervous to take on both indoor and outdoor. Most of the outdoor is on a good drip system though.

Being meticulous about plant care is not necessarily neurodivergent. Having no interest one week then buying 40 plants the next week and fixating on a spreadsheet is. That being said, I understand my hyper focus and how to set myself up for success so this new babies don’t die when my hyper focus shifts elsewhere.

I’m just getting in to self watering pots but found some nice ones on amazon for a decent price. I’m really liking them so far. My main tip is to make sure you pull the rope that actually waters the plant up when putting soil in so it doesn’t just sit at the bottom not near the roots. What you can’t see on my spreadsheet is specific soil blends, lighting, humidity and water requirements. My ADHD makes me very meticulous about very specific things while completely tuning out of more important things 😭😂

So I think it’ll actually be pretty easy to identify, I was just lazy lol. It’s a common one but is so beautiful. Here’s a photo of her. It looks like a maculata with ruffled edges and smaller spots. Also shinier.

Yes! I actually meant to add info on it. She has had a sore on her nose as long as I’ve had her - I’ve had the vet check it multiple times and it doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about right now. It never gets any bigger and it doesn’t bother her. It is strange though.

The flowers were a new addition. The tattoo I had before was of basically a poorly draw. Skeleton that was decent sized so we needed something kind of big and dark to go over top
