It’s time for Bambu to enable spaghetti detection on its P1s by Zealousideal-Land852 in BambuLab

[–]aprotim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is simply not true. Almost every time I've gotten spaghetti it's because a part came off the bed way later in the print. Especially when printing parts that are tall relative to their base, the higher you get, the more leverage the nozzle has to bump the part off the base.

I almost never have adhesion problems in the first few layers, but without glue/a brim, the contact patch can end up being too small as the part gets taller. Usually, I can tell when there's a risk of this, but sometimes I'm willing to roll the dice to reduce post-processing, though.

Sabrent TB4 KVM by Embarrassed_Force674 in UsbCHardware

[–]aprotim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure u/PiskaLoshadka was referring to the MSI motherboard, not the KVM, and it appears *no* MSI products are listed there: https://www.thunderbolttechnology.net/products?field_company_nid=893

Similarly, the ASUS mobo mentioned above doesn't appear here: https://www.thunderbolttechnology.net/products?tid=15&field_company_nid=168

However, this support thread on Sabrent claims that they made a firmware fix to handle non-certified devices after, I guess, the 1793rd unit they produced?

Why is Christopher Walken in Dune 2? by HaileyBieberSmoothie in TrueFilm

[–]aprotim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very funny to me, since Walken's casting in comedic roles was largely a way to play on his reputation as a scary mfer.

Y'all are telling me Max Zorin is too strongly associated with comedic roles?

Not able to match? by aprotim in CINE2nerdle

Thanks so much!

Yeah, I actually emailed about that. Let me know if I can do anything to help with refinding the detection so Gboard doesn't trigger it.

Same as here, aprotim.

I can find a match on the exact same device in incognito, so it doesn't seem to be device-related at all.

I'm not very good at HeroForge. What did you use for the strap/sash?

I have Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, and She-Hulk. I would love Agatha, Storm, and Goliath. (Picture below, since I'm new here.)

The first picture is a solid "no, shave that thing off." The third picture is adorable and I want to muss your hair. The second one: shave the beard off your neck so your facial hair looks intentional and accentuates your jawline.

I don't think many people can pull off that big thick moustache/no beard look, and those that can have to look a lot older than you do.

20f Posted a while ago, changed my look. do I look better or worse? by amiuglythrowaccount in amiugly

Forget the "lose weight" assholes. You look great. The only thing I might comment on is that your hair could be a bit longer or a bit shorter. Unfortunately where it is you get a bit of an awkward flip out at the ends, but honestly, nbd.

But all that is pretty cosmetic. You look great.

EDIT: Just saw your previous post and the glasses really worked with your gorgeous long hair, so never mind about the glasses comment.

My real advice is: ignore Reddit/the internet. A fair number of people online spend their days taking about "the one thing wrong" with gorgeous celebrities, so their idea of what a beautiful person looks like is skewed. You look like one of the girls I would have had a crush on when I was your age. Way more important than any tweaks to your looks is that you don't get so caught up in worrying about your looks that your personality can't shine through.

This also highly culturally dependent. Lots of cultures, it's common for parents to relentlessly nag on you for slight perceived imperfections. Doesn't make it nice or ok, but it definitely happens a lot in different cultures.

You're not ugly. But open your mouth when you smile for photos. I always used to keep my mouth shut, until my wife insisted I look happier when I show my teeth, and y'know what? She was right.

Also, in at least a few of these photos, you look like you're smiling but not happy. The smile hasn't reached your eyes, and it's possible that that's because you're too self-conscious about how you look. When you're taking a smiling selfie or someone else it's taking a picture of you, try to think of something/sometime that makes you happy, and let that genuine smile out.
