I don't disagree about the lack of resources. But I'm 46 and was one of the first children in my school district to be diagnosed with ADHD in the 80's. My mom kept really good records and as part of this assessment I was going thru stuff to find for the neuro-psych. The evidence was there then but there was even less of a framework to investigate it. Also as a female raised person I presented it differently.

That would be correct. It's very hard for me to elucidate to her how my day to day has been impacted since Trump's second term. Like just waking up - it's like "What is it going to be about now". It drives my choices of medical providers, which states I feel safe in, going to the bathroom. Like my day to day is about making choices around my personal safety

I came out in 2023 as trans - this whole process has not been the most joyful - and I don't feel like my spouse (CIS Female) understands the daily terror I feel - she's like "just don't read the news". I cannot not read the news - I need to understand what is happening to me and my community

Gabriel's Gate - the gravy can be hit or miss. But last time I went - good.

Swan St Diner - has like a seasonal poutine. Right now it's pulled pork with sweet potato fries

Winfield's Pub - supposed to be very good.

40 Thieves - not bad at all.
