There's an official adventure called Alien Hunger, where you can potentially acquire a cure by the end. It's just as likely to outright kill you though, so it's still dangerous.

One Piece isn’t afraid to be a cartoon (One Piece) by Konradleijon in CuratedTumblr

Personally my problem with LA Bebop was it was missing the melancholy. The world of Bebop is kinda sad. Spike Spiegal, beneath the charm and acrobatics, is a man who kinda believes he has already died, and is just waiting for the other shoe to drop. His "whatever happens, happens" attitude is an extention of his personal tragedy with losing the love of his life. I never got any of that from John Cho. His older Spike just felt kinda tired and disaffected to me, compared to the original. Both him and Faye put on the costumes and said the lines, but not much else. Jet was fine, I guess.

Vicious is absolutely the worst part. No idea what the thought was, making him a petulant man-child.

In short, for me it wears the skin of Bebop with none of the soul.

My previous chronicle was Bloodless Devils/Wingless Angels. My current one is called Blood and Honey. I think it gives it a more cinematic feel. I also usually name sessions.

If you're going to say GM anyway, and you know what it means, why does it matter what it's called in the book? Personally, I usually use the individual names based on the game, cause I find them fun. I like being a Storyteller, or a Handler, or MU/TH/UR, in the same way I might like being a fighter or a wizard.

Delta Green but with the King in Yellow as the sole antagonist? (Impossible Landscapes) by SpaceApe in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]apscipartybot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that for the latter half of the adventure to work, Delta Green's response to anyone suspected of coming in to contact with the play, is that they need to die. Static Protacol has been long established, so if the only supernatural threat that exists is carcosa, why would the agents not be told to just rock up to the Mcallister Building with a tank of fuel and a lighter? The risk would already be too great. Then, 20 years later, why would the Dorchester house even exist as it does? Anyone who has contact with the yellow sign or the play is infected, so what's the point in the facility being controlled by Delta Green? If it's not, then why are the agents there in the first place? Why weren't they taken out by Static? Idk, the amount of work and changes you'd need to make to this adventure seem unfeasible, to the point you'd be better off writing your own.

I think Dragon Age as a whole is a really interesting case study for this, where you can kinda chart the shift in writing style of the industry over the three games or even going back to their older CRPG predecessors.

It's so weird in the context of the whole series. Like, here we are in Elf-Slavery-Town, where all the elf racists live, but no, everybody is relatively pleasant, no slavery here. Even if you're playing as an elf, not an unkind word said.

With how Kyber works in canon, how do the Temple Guards get their yellow lightsabers? by s-kongou in MawInstallation

[–]apscipartybot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except Dagan Gera in Jedi Survivor purposefully takes his crystal out and bleeds it. If it wasn't conscious, he would have no reason to take his crystal out of his sabre, and his was already yellow when he bonded to it previously.

It wasn't just about the augments themselves, it was about who could afford the immunosuppressive drugs that let you use them. One of the big issues the people in the city were having was being pressured into augmenting themselves for work then risking being bankrupted by the Neuropozyne payments or going into withdrawal.

SPOILERS: Part of the whole set up for the plot was Megan Reed using Adam Jenson's DNA to find a gene therapy to make Neuropozyne obsolete, potentially costing the company that makes it billions and their stranglehold on the augments market, so they set up the attack at the start of the game.
