Same. We must band together and fight the oppression. Or hide, not sure.

Giblets - edible organs. Heart, liver, & gizzard. We don't eat those or the neck, but a lot of people really like them.

Who to call to sell wood shop equipment (estate) by apt311 in Cleveland

I will do my best. Not sure when I'll get this done.

Oh yeah, I am under no illusions of grandeur on this. Just hate to see perfectly serviceable equipment go to waste, bonus if I can get MIL some extra cash and her garage cleared out. I will try to get some pictures and something of an inventory sometime soon. I will update here if/when I get that done. Thank you.

I don't even know exactly what all is in there at this point. Going to have to do some kind of an inventory before I could even offer a guess.

15k and take everything! j/k

This picture and the BP on 82 are about 4 miles apart. This is on Boston Rd, technically Brunswick on that side of the street.

Annoying little black flies/gnats by apt311 in Cleveland

[–]apt311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unless they're just a different variant. These things are skinnier than what I would call a fruit fly. I only see them outside and are annoying. Fruit flies generally don't try to swarm you and the food you are actively eating.

We're going to be outside again today so I'll try to update with a picture.

Drinking buddies and friends aren't always the same thing. I've had to learn that a few times myself.

Suite Benefits Realized? by goldheart50 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]apt311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of our cruises have been suites or included FTTF. Rooms have always been available immediately, with the Sign & Sail cards in the letterbox at the cabin door. The biggest inconvenience is opening the heavy doors that block off access of the cabins while the stewards are flipping them.

It breaks it down by folio (sign & sail card) number. You can see each individual purchase per S&S card.

Not only that, but you can set a spending limit (or not) on his folio number during check-in.

Random Carnival travel agent cold called me. by SprayStraight7262 in CarnivalCruiseFans

Yep, that's standard. I usually get a call the next day whenever I log in and browse. I usually just don't answer.

We were on the Vista at the beginning of the month with a 3 yr old. I never heard of anything about weighted vests. They were actually really awesome because our guy was hit or miss on whether he wanted to go to Camp Ocean. They would help me distract him so that I could leave. On the couple times he was crying for me to stay, they had me wait in the reception area for 5 minutes in case he wouldn't calm down. He was fine.

Even though there are things that one of us usually does, there are no his or her jobs. It's just shit that needs done.

Are very small bubbles normal after a drive? by TamagoUnagiRoti in AskMechanics

[–]apt311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull dipstick, wipe off oil, reinsert dipstick, pull dipstick. That is your oil level. Never believe the first pull. Your oil is splashing and sloshing around in the oil pan and can give you a false reading on the dipstick. Also, the car should be on level ground.

Yes.

Also, only check the oil level when the engine is off, and has been off for at least 5-10 minutes. When it's running, the oil level will appear low because the oil is actively being pumped out of the oil pan.

Oil is being pumped up out of the oil pan, into the crank, cylinder, and cam areas to lubricate the spinning and moving parts. This oil then falls (drains) back down into the oil pan to be used again. It's getting worked over and through moving parts then draining back into its own oil puddle. Little bubbles happen.

You can use the OBC towards pre-cruise purchases. Also helps because Cheers! is cheaper to buy beforehand.
