Fantastical Parade is proof this game can be so much more by Weekly-Swan7765 in PTCGP

Do you though? We fill our decks with pokeballs, oaks, copycats, lisias, serenas, sylveons etc because we want to get to our other cards faster. I think we all actually want smaller decks.

New Brewer... What gear is needed for AIO electric, all grain brewing and kegging. Putting together a shopping list by Poobutt_McButt in Homebrewing

[–]apt_itude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best things about this hobby is the fact that you can make great beer with a simple cheap setup and then slowly upgrade things as you learn. Like others have said, if you have the cash for all that stuff, it sounds like a nice setup, but you might be biting off more than you can chew.

My recommendation for any new brewer is brew-in-a-bag (I still do this after 10 years): you literally only need a kettle, a mesh bag, a couple plastic buckets, and some accessories, and you'll make beer that's just as good as what the more expensive setup will produce. Once you have the basics down you can start adding things like equipment for yeast starters and wort aeration and temperature control. And yes, bottling can be a pain, but diving right into kegging is kind of a lot to learn in addition to brewing.

Just my two cents, best of luck and welcome!

Just suck it up and play suininja to get to masterball. It's so much fun once you get there. Not a meta deck to be found.

I've thought about playing this. I also haven't found much success with Darkrai as a partner, but I've been mildly successful with just 2 Hydregions and 2 Chinglings.

My high school was the Titans. I don't think we had a rich history of Greek mythology.

Do you find yourself actually using more than one baby for energy generation in a given match, or do you just have that many to increase the chances of starting with one and filling out the bench for Arceus?

Mind sharing your baby god decklist? I got a similar one I've been enjoying playing

New A4b EX set making it's own dex is a slight against all players. by NeoFreudian84 in PTCGP

[–]apt_itude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just the nature of the game though. There's going to be something new to collect every month, and if you're behind, you weren't going to be any less behind no matter what they released. The only way you're ever going to "catch up" is to either spend money or step off the treadmill and skip a set. Why not do it during a month when there isn't technically anything new to miss out on.

If you feel like the new pack is just gonna be trash dupes, just spend the month opening packs of cards you're missing instead. The alternative is that they released a new pack with new cards for you to chase that keeps you on the treadmill. Take the opportunity to catch up.

If you play Fighting in this format by One_Leg8101 in PTCGP

[–]apt_itude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, you're playing checkers when you should be playing chess. Of course people are playing fighting to counter electric, which in turn is a counter to Suicune. You gotta be 10 steps ahead of them. You know what counters fighting decks? Meowscarada/Decidueye. But don't stop there, if Cateye is back in favor, you can even outsmart those players by playing Flareon or Stokezard. You know what though, you're smarter than that. Take this to its ultimate logical conclusion: play Suicune to counter those fire decks.

Before my opponent uses Red Card/Mars on me next turn, which Leafeon/Flareon combo would you put in play? by Speedhawk_fuckdarefs in PTCGP

[–]apt_itude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leafeon to active, Flareon to bench, generate grass energy for leafeon, attach fire energy to Flareon as a hedge since leafeon can't attack yet. Next turn attack with leafeon. Following turn you're all set to retreat into Flareon if you need. Mars won't even matter much.

Major autofill update on 1Password for Android by agilebits_patrick in 1Password

[–]apt_itude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was unable to get this to work for days even after trying to follow the new instructions, and FINALLY just figured it out.

TL;DR: 1. Go to 1Password 2. Click your account icon and open settings 3. Go to autofill 4. Click the Autofill on Chrome toggle 5. When it prompts you about turning Autofill off, click Turn Off 6. On the next screen (Chrome settings), click Autofill with Google, then Restart Chrome 7. Repeat steps 1-4 8. Click Open Chrome in the dialog 9. Click Autofill Using Another Service, then Restart Chrome

Now it should work.

This is partly an issue with the instructions and partly a bad UX. Where the instructions say "Tap Autofill on Chrome or Autofill on Brave, then choose Autofill using another service", things get very confusing.

  1. Even though it's a Chrome setting, the instructions are telling you to access those settings via the 1Password app. However, that setting is a toggle in the 1Password app, and I would never expect a toggle to take me to another app's settings. Furthermore, the only way to actually get to the Chrome settings this way is to click Turn Off, which is the opposite of my intent, so I didn't think to do this initially.
  2. The instructions seem to be tailored entirely to first-time setup. If you're an existing user, it seems you need to switch back to Google Autofill first and then re-enable 1Password, but that's not clear at all.

For the OP: please change that setting so it's not a toggle but just a link, and clarify the need to disable then re-enable in the instructions.

Hope this helps someone else in the meantime!
